The young ones should obey the elders
Once, in the house of a merchant they lived a little pusssy with her parents. Her parents often go for hunting. They hunt for rats.
One day little pusssy said to her mother, "Can I go and catch rats as you and father do?"
"Wait my sweetheart until you are bigger", said the mother cat. "You are still too small to catch rats, said the father cat.
"I am big enough to hunt rats," insisted pussy, "please, let me go to catch the rats."
All right, go and catch the rats," said the father cat. But wait until it's dark. Then walk quietly as far as that big hole," said the mother cat, "and wait there until a rat comes out." Remember to jump upon the rat quickly," said the father cat.
"I shall remember everything dad," said little Pussy. So little Pussy waited until it was dark and then she walked up to the kitchen door. She stood there and waited. She remembered not to make any noise. She waited until she heard a squeak- a big, a big squeak.
Little Pussy waited for the rat to come out. "Remember to jump upon the rat quickly," her father had said. So pusssy waited and got ready to jump upon the rat. There was another squeak and a very big a very fat rat come out of the hole.
little Pussy jumped quickly, but not on the rat. She jumped away from the rat and run back to her parents.
"Oh mum," cried little Pussy, "I am scared. I am scared of that big rat. I do not want to catch any more rats.
At this the father cat laughed and said, "You should have waited until you were bigger. When you are bigger, you would not run away from a rat. When you are bigger, you can catch the rats of any size."
little Pussy found some comfort in the loving arms of her mother. The mother cat hugged pussy and caressed her. Pussy's fast beating heart now slowed down. Pussy thought, "I should have paid attention to my mother's advices. I should have listened to my father. if I had not taken to my heels, the big mouse would have bitten me to pieces."
After a while, the mother cat said to pussy, "can you tell me what you have learnt from this experience?"
Pussy replied, "I learnt that the young ones should away the elders."
The mother cat kissed little pussy on her forhead.

Tit for tat
A cunning fox lived in a Jungle. She looked for different ways to befool others. She was proud of her mind and wit. One morning, the fox felt very hungry. She happened to see a cock. The cock was sitting on a high branch of the tree.
