Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru was the first prime minister of free India he was a true follower of Mahatma Gandhi he followed the path of truth and nonviolence he was the maker of India's destiny
He was born on 14 November 18 1989 Allahabad at Allahabad his father Motilal Nehru was a leading advocate of his time his mother was a noble lady he was the only son of his parents so they loved him very much he got his early education at home for higher education he went to England to become a barrister.
He practiced as a lawyer at the Allahabad High court after some he joined the struggle for freedom started by Gandhiji he gave up his practice and joined the Congress he was arrested many time he was sent to Jail 2 but he did not loss courage he love children very much children also loved them so they called him chacha.
India become independent on 15 August 1947 he become the first prime minister his solved many problem of the country he made India a strong and powerful country in the world.
He died on May 27 1964 everyone was said on his death he was called the builder of modern India.
Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru was a great writer orator and sincere politician. He was a messenger of peace. He was a great leader of his age. Really, he was a true patriot he will live in our hearts forever.

MAHAMA GANDHI
Mahatma Gandhi was a great leader of India. He made our country free. His full name was Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi.
Gandhiji was born on 2nd October 1869 at Porbander in Gujarat. He got his early education in India. He went to England to study law. He return to India as a barrister and started his practice as a lawyer.
He went to South Africa to plead a case. There he saw the miserable condition of his countrymen. He was shocked. There, the white people hated the Indians and Africans who were black.
From 1893 to 1914 he lived in South Africa opposing discrimination against Indians. He started his non-violent movement against the cruel behavior of Europeans. There, he fought for 20 years with the weapons of love, truth, and ahimsa. At last, he got success.
Gandhiji returned to India. He decided to struggle against British rule and to make his country free. He was arrested many times. When the second world war was over, the British government decided to free India.
Muhammad Ali Jinnah demanded a separate country for the Muslims. Gandhiji tried his best to keep India united. He worked for Hindu Muslim unity. But he was helpless. Hence, the country was divided into two parts- India and Pakistan.
Thus, India got freedom on 15 August, 1947. At about 11 a.m. on 30 January 1948, a fantastic Indian short Gandhiji diead. we call him Bapu.
Gandhiji was the true son and maker of free India. He was a great leader and a great saint. He proved that Ahimsa is more powerful weapon than sword. He said, "Live and let live."
