This is to draw your attention to the unbearable state of things in our locality. Garbages have been piling up for many days in this locality, blocking manya of the lanes and street. The stench issuing from these rooting piles turn the whole area into veritable hell. The locality has become an ideal breeding place for files and mosquitoes. They have multiplied in great numbers. Many people are suffering from malaria and enteric disease. Unless some quick measures are adopted, these disease may soon break out on an epidemic scale. Moreover, there is the ominous possibility of another serious danger. The rain may start any day now and, when they do, a lot of this piled-up garbage would be washed away and get mixed with the water of the ponds. That would certainly lead to serious consequences. 

In view of the above facts I demand your immediately intervention so that the people of the locality may be spared the utter inconvenience they are not suffering from.
